Innovation Is The Key To Differentiation

BioLab® has a strong history of finding new ways to improve products, processes, packaging and providing services to our customers. Our Technology and Innovation department, comprised of formulation/analytical chemists and regulatory/industry experts are constantly seeking new and better ways to give our customers a competitive edge and our consumers a greater product experience.

Here are just a few examples of how BioLab has led the way in developing things that quickly became industry standards:

  • System Approach to Pool Care – BioLab pioneered the systematic approach to routine pool care that not only helped pool owners better understand the keys to proper maintenance, but helped them avoid costly problems that often plagued inexperienced users.
  • Computerized Water Analysis – This software and device system gave professional dealers the tools necessary to precisely diagnose pool and spa water samples and provide more accurate recommendations for creating optimum water conditions. Never satisfied, this technology has undergone constant refinement and continues to be the ideal others aspire to. In recent years, we have adapted a more user-friendly version for our mass consumers.
  • Multi-Functional Products – Saving consumers time and money by combining product features is an important aspect of our innovation strategy. Whether its helping pool owners combine steps during maintenance, protecting equipment while we protect the water or adding more uses to our household cleaning products, we seek to meet the consumers’ need to do more with less effort
  • Consumer-Friendly Shock Formulations and Packaging – Adding shock to pool water was advanced with the development of formulations that greatly improved the fire safety profile of existing products and the introduction of a one-pound package that made dosing much easier. These significant changes illustrated that innovation comes in a variety of ways and that BioLab considers all factors when searching for product enhancements.
